1. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Cozy Retro Games (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you play Neon Drone (the “App”) on iOS devices.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the App, save progress, support leaderboards and purchases, show ads, and improve your experience. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Key facts: Neon Drone is free to play and supported by optional advertisements and in-app purchases. The App uses anonymous Firebase authentication by default – no email address, account registration, or password is required. Game Center integration is optional.
2. Data We Collect

The App integrates the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

Firebase and AdMob services operate on Google’s infrastructure. Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where Google operates data centers. Apple services are governed by Apple’s own privacy practices and terms.
4. Apple Game Center Optional
Game Center integration is optional. The App can be played without using Game Center. If you are signed in to Game Center and use leaderboard or achievement features:
- Your Game Center display name may be stored alongside your high score and selected drone in Firebase Firestore
- Your score may appear on public global leaderboards
- Your Game Center achievements may be reported to Apple Game Center
- Your Game Center data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy
- You can manage Game Center through iOS Settings > Game Center
Without Game Center, leaderboard records are stored under app-generated identifiers that are not linked to your real-world identity by us.
5. Advertising GDPR CCPA
The App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob, including interstitial ads and rewarded ads. AdMob may process device information, approximate location derived from IP address, ad interaction data, and advertising-related identifiers where available.
5.1 Consent (EU/EEA – GDPR)
Where required by law, advertising and analytics processing that depends on consent will only take place after consent has been obtained. Depending on your region and device settings, you may receive personalized ads or non-personalized contextual ads.
5.2 App Tracking Transparency (iOS – ATT)
If the App requests permission to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies, iOS will show Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt before the advertising identifier (IDFA) is accessed for tracking purposes. You can change this permission at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
5.3 Rewarded Ads
The App may offer optional rewarded ads. If you choose to watch a rewarded ad, the App receives a signal that the ad was completed and grants the in-game reward. We do not receive your payment information or real-world identity from rewarded ads.
5.4 Removing Ads
You can remove advertisements with an in-app purchase where available. After ad-free access is unlocked, the App does not intentionally load AdMob ads for your gameplay experience.
5.5 Do Not Sell (CCPA)
We do not sell your personal information. If you are a California resident and wish to exercise your CCPA rights, please contact us at the address below.
6. In-App Purchases
In-app purchases, including ad-free access, currency packs, boost packs, and other digital items, are processed entirely by Apple via StoreKit. We do not collect, store, or process your payment information. Apple’s Privacy Policy governs all purchase transactions.
We receive only the following information from Apple or StoreKit:
- Whether a purchase was completed, cancelled, pending, restored, or failed
- The product identifier that was purchased or restored
- Transaction information needed to unlock the purchased in-game item
Your payment details and full purchase history are stored by Apple and are not accessible to us beyond the information necessary to provide purchased content.

8. Your Rights
8.1 EU/EEA Residents (GDPR) GDPR

- Erasure – Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Restriction – Request that we limit processing of your data

- Withdraw consent – Withdraw consent for data processing at any time
- Lodge a complaint – File a complaint with your national data protection authority
8.2 California Residents (CCPA) CCPA
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, you have the right to:
- Know what personal data is collected, used, shared, or sold
- Delete personal information we hold about you
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell data)
- Non-discrimination for exercising your rights
8.3 Other Jurisdictions
Users in other countries may have additional rights under applicable local laws, including the UK GDPR, Brazil’s LGPD, Canada’s PIPEDA, and Australia’s Privacy Act. We will honor lawful requests from users in any jurisdiction.

9. Children’s Privacy
Neon Drone is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages.
The App is not designated as “Made for Kids” and does not qualify as a child-directed service under COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act).
If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at info@cozyretrogames.com and we will delete it promptly where required.
10. International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States. We rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers, including:
- Google LLC’s applicable data transfer safeguards and certifications
- Google’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) where applicable
- Apple Inc.’s applicable data transfer safeguards and certifications
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will:
- Update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page
- Post a notice within the App if material changes affect you
Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
